Know the truth through meditation. Then you yourself will know who you are, your religion, your purpose, and your nature. Do not believe what others say and become a slave to religious prejudices.
- His Holiness, Sri Sri Sri Shivabalayogi Maharaj
Who is Sri Sri Sri Shivabalayogi Maharaj?Sri Sri Sri Shivabalayogi Maharaj completed 12 years of Tapas. From August 7, 1949 to August 7, 1961, He meditated 23 hours a day for 8 years; then 12 hours a day for 4 more years.
"A true yogi is one who has actually completed tapas. Yogis are God's agent. They have to do whatever God says" - Sri Swamiji Sri Swamiji's primary mission is to set people on the path of dhyana, or meditation. The word "dhyana" is often translated to "meditation" but it is much more than that. Dhyana is when the effort of meditation is successful, and the mind naturally concentrates and focuses one pointedly. |
